Carnival Breeze Impresses with an Array of Accomadations

Carnival Breeze is the largest ship in the Carnival Fleet, featuring the 24,000 square foot Cloud 9 Spa, Carnival Waterworks pool area, plus expansive dining and entertainment venues. The boisterous Carnival Breeze cruise ship contained hours of fun for high school seniors on Spring Break, as well as for fun-loving families and singles, with comfortable cabins, constant entertainment (poolside dance parties, after-hours comedians, casinos, plenty of activities for kids), and increasingly impressive food, including burgers by Food Network star Guy Fieri. Those three things gave 21 FHC seniors an unforgettable senior spring break.

Cabins:

On cruise ships, the cabins are thought to be very small and cramped but the ones on the breeze were a comfortable size. If you were lucky and got a room on the outside of the boat you got a balcony that overlooked the ocean. Complementary robes, bath soap, shampoo, and water was provided for every cabin. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, once in the morning and the again at dinner. Additionally, towel animals were made to brighten your mood every day.

Activities:

Carnival ships are buzzing with entertainment options, from flamboyant song-and-dance revues in giant theaters to large glitzy casinos, live bands and hilarious late-night stand-up comedy shows offered fleet wide on every cruise. The pool decks rock, pumping out loud Caribbean-style favorites throughout the day. There are plenty of audience participation games and contests. You can also head to the huge gyms and spas, take a dance class, watch a movie on a giant outdoor screen, surf the web in the Internet center, whack some golf balls, or head to the adults-only sunbathing deck that the ship offers for some quiet time. Kids get big children’s centers with high-energy counselors and activities, plus great water slides and water parks.

Food:

In the dining department, Carnival’s food quality and presentation proved much better than many people expect from a mainstream cruise. There are two different nights for dress code: casual and formal. This allows everyone to dress up from time to time to be elegant. The delicious food was only one feature of the night: the other was your waiter. Erik, our waiter, was there every night with us. We got to know him and it truly made the experience much better. If you want to go super-casual, you can dine buffet-style for every meal, choosing among everything from burgers and fries to burritos, pasta, fried rice and Indian food. You can get pizza 24 hours a day, too, plus sushi, deli sandwiches, and more.
