Who are you dating?

“Micah Meadow.”

How long have you been together and when did you meet?

“Over three years [since we met] in seventh grade.”

How do you think being in a relationship has affected your high school experience?

“I feel like it has changed what I do, like the activities that I do; I spend more time with him, and I think more about relationships than other high schoolers do. I feel like [because] I’m committed to somebody, and a lot of people don’t have that commitment yet because we’re so young, I think of him more than just myself; I have more to think about.”

 What was it like going into high school being in a relationship?

“I feel like a lot of people are stressed about trying to find somebody that they like and they want to date, and I don’t have to worry about that because I’m committed and loyal and I don’t have to worry about him not being loyal or anything.”

 Has your perspective on dating changed since the beginning of your relationship?

“Yeah, I feel like I notice other relationships and people’s loyalty and love and I can compare it to mine and I feel like I see a lot of differences with high schoolers because some people just aren’t as loyal as they seem.”

 What is your favorite memory together?

“When I got stranded in Florida, and [I] had to live with him and his family for a couple of days.”
