An example of a closet that you would put your clothes in

Throughout the years I find my wardrobe rotating every month, while many pieces have been seasonal, I tend to pick up the same items to wear. I am a person who has always loved to wear comfortable clothing so being cozy is a must when reaching for something to wear. So without further ado, here is my 2024 clothing wrapped. 

#1 My Camo Hollister Men’s Hoodie

Although basic, this hoodie was my best clothing purchase of the year.  I found myself reaching for this hoodie more than I thought, what on the outside looked like just a plain hoodie full of naturistic colors was like an overbearing hug on the inside, especially if you get in men’s sizes. It had the basic hoodie pocket and an extra with a zipper, making it easy to store my things. I have earned the title of a hoodie expert, as they are taking up half my closet, and this is certainly my favorite. The fleece inside and the simplicity makes it the perfect addition to my closet this year. 

#2 My Brandy Melville Cuffed Sweatpants

I like these sweatpants so much that I own five pairs. I have found that most sweatpants are scratchy or way too big, but for me, the Brandy Melville sweatpants are the perfect fit. Because I am a taller person, many sweatpants I have bought are too short on my long legs, but these are an ideal fit. Not only are they super comfortable but match everything. There is an endless amount of outfits I can make with sweatpants like these, sweatshirts, tank tops, t-shirts, etc. These sweatpants were a perfectly justified purchase in 2024.

#3 My UGG Tazz slippers

Most would consider these shoes to be worn in spring or fall but after wearing them through every part of the year, they still look brand new. Most UGGs are not water resistant, but because these are platforms, they are still wearable throughout the winter season. These shoes are also great for long car rides are when going to sports practices. At least for me, I love wearing comfortable footwear upon arrival to my sports practices. These shoes have so many uses but are also super comfortable. I wish I had purchased these slippers sooner. 

#4 Aerie Real Me Cross Over Leggings

These leggings are a perfect basic I have added to my closet this year. With their endless amount of ways to style, they are great for everyday wear. As a girl who goes to the gym only twice a year, I found many other uses than just a yoga pant. Whether I am taking a test in math class or going out with friends I reach for these leggings in every situation. At the right time of the year, you can get these leggings for very cheap. Aerie’s annual summer and end-of-year sale is the perfect time of year to pick up a pair. I was able to purchase these pants for $25, which is a great deal for a pair of nice quality leggings. 

Through the perfect hoodie or nice quality legging, these four clothing items have been a perfect addition to my wardrobe this year. If you love high-quality, comfy clothing, I would consider purchasing any one of these to add to your closet in the new year.
