JV Golf takes second and third at Thornapple Pointe and Mona Shores Tournament

After a successful match in Goin, Michigan last week, finishing third out of eight teams, FHC came back strong again the past two days.. FHC placed second out of six teams at Thornapple Pointe on Tuesday and then on Wednesday, third out of six teams at Mona Shores. Lauren Coe scored a 61 at Thornapple Pointe and shot a 65 at Mona Shores. Mandy Ehrlich scored the best out of the team during both matches.

Looking forward, on Saturday the JV golf team has an invitational match at Grand Rapids Christian’s course, they will be shooting 18 holes and playing multiple different teams. Lauren said the main goals in the upcoming matches are going to be to shoot under a 60. That is the goal of the coach, but Lauren said they will stay calm and collected despite the ambitious goals.
