Freshman Volleyball makes quick work of Greenville, wins by ten plus in both sets.

Freshmen Cora Kelly and Rachel Toole help the Lady Rangers cruise past the Greenville Yellow Jackets Thursday night, winning both sets by over ten points each. Cora’s digging and Rachel’s passing were huge keys to a victory early in conference play. The Rangers obliterated the Jackets 25-5 in the first game and beat them 25-11 the second game. This is a huge win they needed as the Lady Rangers move on into some of their biggest games in their schedule.

The first game was the ideal game for the Rangers. They played a great all-around game and that’s what led to the destruction of the Yellow Jacket’s confidence. The Ranger’s confidence after the 20 point win was too much for Greenville, as the Rangers blasted the Yellow Jackets again 25-11. The Rangers scored more points in a game than the Yellow Jackets scored the entire match.

The Rangers move to 2-1 and certainly look like a team many teams don’t want to face. They face the Cedar Springs Red Hawks at home next week and look to extend the winning streak to 3.
