JV volleyball has up and down at EGR Invite

On Saturday the JV volleyball team played in an invite at East Grand Rapids where they played multiple teams: Eastern, Northview, Grand Rapids Christian, and Grand Haven. Sophomore Kelsey Toole did exceptionally well at her defensive play in the back row as well as having a great back row attack.

Due to the time, the games were shortened to two sets each. In the beginning of the day, the Rangers split the games with both Eastern and Grand Haven. The girls then knew what they had to do, they played with more aggression, earning them a win against Northview, but a loss against Grand Rapids Christian.

These games were not for the conference, but they are good practice for the games that count. The team has a lot of potential in the OK White conference. The Rangers have a few weeks left in their season and are practicing harder each day in order to secure their spot in the conference.
