JV volleyball dominates against Cedar Springs

On Tuesday night, the Lady Rangers JV volleyball team took on Cedar Springs and won in the first two sets of the game. This specific game was not as intense as games prior due to the slower pace of game, allowing room for players to try different positions on the court. Sophomore Kelsey Toole was able to experiment in the front row instead of playing in her usual back row position, giving her a new perspective of the court.

Despite their win, the Rangers feel as if they didn’t perform to the best of their ability. The Lady Rangers’ game strategy was sinking down to the level of Cedar Springs; they could’ve approached the game with more intensity and energy. Going into the game, the Rangers anticipated an easy win, therefore gave the opposing team a chance to pull ahead. However, the Rangers were able to pull out the win with their minimal intensity and gain more confidence to win more games.

The Rangers are still looking very strong in the OK White conference. Their offense has been dominating yet again. They continue to attack hard and give it their all, but these next few games need to have an increase in the amount of intensity that they give on the court in order to ensure success. With a few weeks left in the season, the Rangers are putting in the hard work and effort to do what they can to win in the conference.
