What have you done recently to help contribute to the team and be individually successful?

“Throughout the season, I have been golfing 5-6 times a week along with strength and conditioning training out of school. I also work with a personal golf trainer every weekend to improve my golf game. For me personally, putting in the most work possible is important, and I know that I am not only helping myself, but I am also helping my team to improve our overall score post matches.”

What have your stats been looking like this season?

“So far this season, I have been doing decent. I normally shoot the high forties or very low fifties. I think that the hard work I put into the sport to improve has paid off.”

Why did you start playing golf?

“Prior to golf, I played many different sports. The sports I played before I got serious with golf did not interest me enough to keep playing them. I got serious with golf almost 3 years ago, and it was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. I think that I will continue practicing and playing golf for the many years to come.”

What other hobbies do you have?

“In my free time, I love to spend time with friends. I am with friends all the time throughout the year. Other than that, I love to travel whether that is to Grand Haven or all the way to Hawaii. I also love shopping!”

What’s your favorite gas station snack?

“Although it’s basic, my go-to would definitely have to be a slushy.”

What is the best part about going to FHC?

“At FHC, I have made so many amazing friends. I think that throughout high school I definitely had more of an opportunity to meet new people and become closer with people compared to my years prior to high school. I absolutely love the atmosphere at FHC. I think that we’re all one big family and I am so thankful that I have the chance to call myself a student here.”

What is a quote that inspires you?

“Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest actions. This is the secret of success.” – Swami Sivananda.
