Varsity field hockey picks up two wins against Regina and St. Catherine

The Rangers had two games over the weekend. In the first game they matched up against Regina. With a score of 10-0, the Rangers got off to a hot start to begin the day. Some of the key players were Madison Bruno, who had two goals, Rain Tarango had one, Emma Dodson had one, and also Kirstin Fentzke had one. In the second half the Rangers called a timeout and were told to score within a minute. They went out there and executed the plan and scored in under 30 seconds after the timeout. As well as a following goal to end the game within 2 minutes of the time out.
The second game the Rangers went up against the number one team in their division, St. Catherine. Madison bruno scored the first goal of the game which motivated the team and gave them some insurance. Emma Dodson sealed the deal with the second and last goal. The game ended with a 2-0 victory and secured the Rangers as the number one team in the division.
