Varsity volleyball goes 0-1-3 in their last tournament at EGR

This past weekend, FHC Ranger varsity volleyball would face off in close matches against Holland Christian, Lakewood, Mona Shores, and Traverse City West to go 0-1-3 in their last tournament of the season.

The first match of the day was against Holland Christian where they lost both games in very close games. The first game ended with a score of 25-23 and the second 25-21. The second match was a rematch from the last tournament against Lakewood, the number one volleyball team in division two. At the last tournament, the team went 0-2 against them, this time they were able to win one game. With the improvement, the team was able to tie them 1-1, winning game one 25-23 but falling in game two 26-24.

Likewise to match one, the team fell to Mona Shores 0-2, 25-21 in game one and 25-20 in game two. The last match of the day was against Traverse City West, a team they also have played in a previous tournament. Just like at the last tournament, the team was defeated 0-2. In game one, the Rangers were able to score 17 points to Traverse City West’s 25, game two they got 18 points to their 25.
