JV golf succeeds at another tournament placing second overall

After a week of no JV golf, the girls looked forward to their match last night. It would be the last match for some, but others have a makeup match tonight at Cedar Springs due to a heat delay last week. Yesterday at Grace Will course, Kenowa Hills home course, the lady Ranger JV golf team placed second overall. Since this was the last match of a lot of their seasons, many of them were excited to play in it because everyone got to play in the match yesterday, freshman, Lauren Coe said that as a whole, they all played really well last night, a lot of the shots were straighter and farther. Lauren scored a 57, and sophomore, Mandy Ehrlich scored a 44.

In today’s match, there are six girls participating to make up for that delay. The girls that are playing are really looking forward to one last match. They are looking to find out how much they’ve grown from start of the season to now, both as a team and individually. For the girls that are playing next year, they look to improve all of their skills during the off-season and they hope to my varsity.
