JV Volleyball defeats Greenville 2-0

The Lady Rangers took another win Tuesday night against the Greenville Yellow Jackets, 2-0. The Lady Rangers were able to find the holes on Greenville’s side of the court and that worked to their advantage, scoring many points. It took the Rangers a bit to get fired up in the game. Their first set was played at a slower pace but they picked it up like they usually do, in the second set. The Rangers kicked it in gear and won 25-18 in the first set and won 25-13 in the second set.

Freshman Tatum Otolski worked hard on the court with some great all-around play. Tatum got around the ball really well, keeping it on track to where it had to go; the other side of the net. She never lost sight of the goal, which was to play well and pull out with the win. Tatum has done very well this season especially recently, she capitalized on the new things she has learned especially in this game.

Once again, the Rangers look really well in the OK White conference. The team has improved their defense greatly, and they continuously do drills to make it stronger. The Lady Rangers face off against Cedar Springs on Thursday and hope to take what they’ve been working on into that game. If the Rangers continue to do well and beat their biggest competition, Lowell, than the Rangers look strong enough to win the conference.
