Humans of FHC: Jessica Singh

“I was ten years old, and I really wanted a puppy. I begged my dad for a puppy. I begged him every day. I cried every day. Then, he told me if I saved up money, he would let me buy a puppy. So, I saved up money from each of my birthdays and everything. I got a puppy. He was eight weeks old– a yellow lab. I tried to take care of it for two days. But then, it was really hard. My parents would tell me to do everything. I got tired of it. So I was like, ‘I don’t want it anymore.’ So I returned it two days later. Recently, I got another eight-week-old puppy who is less annoying.”
