Imagine standing at a cliff, safe and secure at the peak. Your life seems incomplete, you are always waiting for a chance to jump and soar further in life. As explained in the speech by Steve Harvey, many individuals are always for their chance to jump, metaphorically speaking though. Many individuals aspire to go far in life and to be something. To be proud of themselves and to make a difference.
At the cliff, individuals waiting to leap see others “flying” and enjoying their time as they dreamed it would be. To those who are waiting, they do not see failure within those individuals, they only see success. That is not the case though, success comes from failure in every circumstance.
This comes from life experience. In order to be successful, you must fail and overcome your obstacles. Along your journey to success, you will be hurt and not always “fly” at the beginning. But, eventually you will overcome and thrive.
