The combined Forest Hills gymnastics team competed among fourteen teams from around the state of Michigan last Saturday in the Rockford Flip-Flop Invite. Competing against conference rivals such as Lowell, Rockford, and Kenowa Hills, the team had a chance to compete against and scout very talented teams early in the season. Despite the gymnasts feeling it was not their best meet, the team still placed fourth overall.

Two team members from Forest Hills Eastern and Northern placed in the top ten for their events, and Ranger sophomore Hannah Walters performed extremely well in her floor routine. The team looks to touch up on a few weak spots and learn from the tournament this past weekend in order to come out and defeat the powerhouse of Rockford in their next meet. Go out and support the Forest Hills gymnasts in their first dual meet against the Rams on Monday, January 8th.
