What were some successes you had last season?

“Last season I had to guard the top players from other teams and I was nominated by both my teammates and coaches [the title of] “Best Defensive Player.a��”

What are some personal goals for this season?

“As a strong defensive player, my goal is to always keep my opponent to low scores. My goals this year are to become more of an offensive threat [and] to be a strong leader for my team both on and off the court.”

Why do you play basketball?

“I play basketball because I love the high intensity on the court. Basketball allows me to work as both an individual and a team player.”

What is your favorite memory from FHC basketball?

“My favorite memory was the Gold Game last year against Northern. We had lost to Northern earlier in the season, but we learned from our past mistakes and came together as a team and beat them by one in the last few seconds of the game on our home court.”

What is your biggest inspiration in sports?

“My biggest inspiration in sports is my family; they are always pushing me to be the best that I can be.”
