Coming off of an exciting win over Greenville last Friday, girls varsity basketball looks to pick up another win today over Cedar Springs to move to 2-1 in the conference.

Despite graduating many seniors last year, the Red Hawks are still very talented and well-coached. With Cedar running a weave style offense, FHC will focus on their tight zone press and man defense as they usually do. The Rangers look to run the floor and take control of the game early on offense. Senior Madi Winter, the key distributor on offense, will be essential tonight with her quick passes in order to exploit Cedar Springs’ 2-3 zone defense.

Coming off of playing clean and working as a team last week, FHC will simply try to carry over momentum into tonight’s game. Cedar Springs, despite having a 2-5 record overall, is 1-1 in the conference as well. The Red Hawks also beat Greenville, but lost to Forest HIlls Northern by eight last week. The winner of the game tonight will improve to a winning record in the OK White, and if the Rangers come out victorious they will improve to a 5-4 record overall.
