“[Being the only freshman in jazz band] is really fun because everyone is really talented. It’s fun to be the only freshman because you get to meet people you haven’t met before and work with more experienced musicians. [I like jazz band] because I get to play the piano and experience a new type of piano [style] that I’m not used to because I’ve always played classical music.“
