The Forest Hills gymnastics team concluded its season this past weekend at the State Meet. Carrying nine gymnasts to the meet, two of which from FHC, the team was able to place 11th overall in the State with a team score of 138.
The Rangers that competed felt it was not their best meet, however, two gymnasts from Forest Hills Northern were able to place in events and one of them placed 8th all around. No gymnasts from FHC were able to place against the talented competition at this high stakes meet.
The gymnasts were able to have a winning record in dual meets and place high in multiple-team meets all season long. Faced with many injuries early on, the return of experienced gymnasts such as senior Hannah Kuhlmann benefited the team at the midpoint of the year. Hannah is the only FHC senior who will graduate from the team, and this young team will be talented for the next few years with a strong sophomore class.
