1. What’s your film about?
“Our film is about a teenager who has a deadly heart condition, and his struggle to supply himself with the medication he needs to survive.”
2. What’s the theme of your film?
“There isn’t a super evident theme to ours really– just what people will do in order to survive. We show the lengths that the main character will go to in order to stay alive and the repercussions of his actions.”
3. What was the inspiration for the film?
“There wasn’t really an inspiration for it; we all were just pitching ideas and wanted to make a darker film because it is hard to make comedies [since] so many people having different senses of humor.”
4. Can you describe the filming/editing process?
“The editing and filming was a lot of fun, but it was very time consuming and took a lot of work There was a point in our work when we were very excited about where our film could go, so we started working more because we wanted to– not because we had to.”
5. How did you choose the actors/actresses?
“Honestly, I think that we all as the creators knew what we wanted each character to be like, so we matched up each character with the person who had the most similar personality.”
6. What was your favorite part of the creative process?
“My favorite part of the creative process was seeing all of our ideas because they were very different. But [there was a] moment when all three [of us] liked an idea, and then we all just kept spitting out ideas that we wanted to be in our film.”
7. What messages are you trying to convey?
“Not really trying to convey a ton of messages– just be careful who you trust, and never underestimate what people will do in order to survive.”
8. What can your audience expect to get out of the film?
“They can expect a plot twist and an exciting film that is very action based.”
9. How is your film different from the rest?
“Ours is different because we probably have the most music in our film. We really tried to add music that matched our film, and in some parts, music that didn’t match at all in order to make it a little weird and confusing.”
