The varsity football team comes off of a big rivalry win to start its OK White schedule and will go on the road to Northview this week for only its second away game of the season. These two teams are relatively evenly matched, as both sit at 2-2. The Wildcats had a tough 1-8 2017 season, but look to be turning things around after a couple of blow out wins this year.

Northview’s coach is a previous assistant coach to Tim Rogers and helped build the football program into what it is at FHC. These two schools run a similar offense and it will be a battle between two quarterback-receiver dynamic duos.  FHC’s senior quarterback Luke Majick and senior wide receiver Tate Hallock will challenge Northview’s senior quarterback Kennedy Smith and senior wide receiver Cody Tierney to see who can connect more for those big, game-changing plays. Kennedy is averaging at least 200 passing yards in every game so far this season, with Cody being his go-to target.

Both defenses will be challenged in the passing game and whichever team can prevent the big plays will likely come out on top. The Rangers expect to be challenged by the Wildcats but are predicted to walk away with the road win.
