Girls JV golf has another second-place finish at Greenville Jamboree

On Wednesday, September 27, the girls JV golf team attended the Greenville jamboree. Along with FHC were teams from Belding, Cedar Springs, Northern, Greenville, Lowell, Mona Shores, and Northview. The girls placed second out of these eight teams.
Overall, FHC finished with a score of 233. The top scorers were freshmen Bela Gonzalez, Alyssa Cheslek, and Lexi Schnelker. Along with these three freshmen was sophomore Anna Freihofer, and juniors Katie Bethel and Haisley Turnquist. Bela scored a 54 overall, along with Katie who finished with a 57, and Anna with a 59. Lexi finished with a 63 and Alyssa with a 66.
The next meet for the girls is Thursday, September 27. With two more meets left in the season, the girls look to finish strong.
