Bowling suffers another tough loss to Cedar Springs, 28.5-1.5 and 23-7

On Wednesday night, juniors David Mason and Alex Souza both bowled 166 for stellar performances en route to a tough loss. The bowling teams suffered another thumping loss, this time to Cedar Springs. The boys ended up losing 28.5-1.5, while the girls fell 23-7.

The star bowlers for the boys team on Wednesday were the aforementioned juniors, David and Alex. The usual leading scorer, junior Ben Kastner, didn’t have his best night, and the team appeared to suffer. The guys really struggled in the baker games and with just knocking down pins in general. Although this was an improvement from the last match, the boys team still has a long way to go if they want to have a successful season.

On the girls side, average scores filled the scorecard, as the team had another mediocre performance to lose 23-7. Although the results didn’t show it, the team improved from previous games and were more consistent in knocking pins down.

Next week, the Rangers take on the Ottawa Hills Bengals at home. FHC will be looking to gain some serious momentum that they can take into the rest of the season.
