Girls JV Golf takes first at the Greenville Jamboree

Although the weather was quite cold and windy for the month of August, the Lady Rangers powered through and placed first at their jamboree at Brookside on Wednesday afternoon. So far, the Rangers have placed within the top 3 in their first two matches of the season. Coming off a fantastic season from last year, the rangers are on their way to success once again.

As a team, the Rangers placed first, shooting a 221.  Not far behind was Forest Hills Northern, who placed second with 224. Following in third, Lowell shot a 226.

Having lots of experienced players from last year’s squad, the Rangers are succeeding individually as well. Bella Wisely was the top scorer for FHC with a 51. In second, Serena Thiede shot a 55. Alyssa Cheslek came in third and shot a 57, followed by Bela Gonzalez who shot a 58.

With a great start to the season, the Rangers are looking to place in the top 3 once again in their next Jamboree. The girls’ next match is on September 4th at Forest Hills Northern.
