Last Thursday, October 17th, the FHC JV Volleyball team took on Greenville and Lowell. This Thursday, the 24th, the girls faced off against Northview and Forest Hills Northern. On both Thursdays, the Rangers played very well and continued their great streak of wins.

On the 17th, the girls beat both Greenville and Lowell in two matches, proving who the dominant team in the conference is. They continued to meet their goal of staying calm and collected throughout the match to achieve the win.

On the 24th, the girls also beat both Northview and FHN in two matches. They played Northview first, winning the first set 25-13, and the second set 25-12. Then, they beat Northern by 25-16, then again by 25-16. In both matches, the Rangers were solid on both defense and offense. Freshman Kate Hotaling had an amazing save as a defender, and sophomore Abby Berlin was a solid right-side hitter. Overall, the team played at a fast pace and had very effective communication.

The next event for the girls is their final game on Tuesday, October 29th at 5:00 PM. They will be playing at home against Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills High School.
