How did you get into swimming?
“I got involved with swimming 5 years ago thanks to water polo, a sport that I played in Italy.”
What is your favorite part of being on the team?
“I like the friendships that have developed between us all.”
What is your most memorable race?
“I’ve only done one race so far, but that race was exciting, and I was really nervous.”
How do you feel the season has gone so far?
“I feel really confident; the team is really good, [junior] Avery [LeTourneau] and [senior] CJ [Hier] are really fast, and I’m sure that they will do great things during this season. Also, the rest of the team is working hard, and we are improving our swim skills practice after practice. We help each other to never give up.”
Any advice for new swimmers?
“Put yourself in every workout, give 101% each time, and stay consistent for the whole practice.”
