Junior Caden Jacobs and senior Brendan Guitar both held the only two pins of the night against Caledonia in districts. The Rangers ended up losing this match 44-22 but fought valiantly as the score was very close up until the end.

Junior Mason Childers started with the first win of the night for FHC as he conquered his opponent by decision 6-4. Caden got the second win of the night over his opponent at 125 with a pin in less than 40 seconds, and he will be a nightmare to deal with to other wrestlers in his weight class at Individual Districts.

The next few matches for the Rangers were all losses, putting them in the passenger seat throughout the rest of the night. Juniors Isaac Gurley and Robby Frazer both needed pins to bring the Rangers back, but they couldn’t quite grasp it. They both won 14-5 and 9-0, respectively, but FHC was still down by one at the end of their matches.

The heavier weights for the Fighting Scots overpowered the Rangers in the end and took three back-to-back-to-back pins, which gave them 18 points and sealed the deal. The Rangers end the season 19-9, they and are now off to MHSAA Individual Districts in Grand Haven on Saturday, February 15.
