Boys JV Basketball defeats Lowell by 24 with a score of 79-55

Sophomore Conner Milton had a very active game on Thursday night against the Lowell Red Arrows, leading his team to victory with a score of 79-55. The boys have had a long streak of wins and hope to continue the rest of the season with this high level of play.

This game started out very well for the boys; they came out with intensity and got to a distant lead of 32-7 early in the game. Conner really turned up his activity in this game, rebounding well, taking shots from the outside, and bringing the intensity that his team needed. Sophomores Ben Scholler and Jacob Bonnett also had some great plays. Both Ben and Jacob played fast and set the tone for the game on defense and offense.

“This game was unique because it was the best start to a game that we’ve had all year,” head coach Jordan George said. “Our pressure and intensity really wore them down.”

The next game for the boys is on Tuesday, February 18th at Ottawa Hills at 5:30 PM.
