The Central Trend

Lynlee Derrick
Lynlee is a junior, and she has been writing on staff for The Central Trend since freshman year. She absolutely loves the rain and snow. Trying new things—and languages—is a favorite pastime of hers. Hoping to continue with her passion, Lynlee loves to write poetry and read books that question the world.

Favorite part about being on staff: Being able to express everything through the medium of words is such a powerful gift not everyone has, and it's radically freeing to do so

Favorite type of story: Columns

Hobbies/interests: Skiing, traveling, attempting to be a chef, believing lowercase letters are supreme, and writing

Favorite Movie: the live-action Scooby-Doo movie
