Payton Field , Staff Writer

Payton is a senior and entering her fourth year on staff. Aside from writing for TCT, Payton dances with the Grand Rapids Ballet Company as a trainee. She takes one official class at school and the rest of her classes online, in order to accommodate her ballet schedule. This past summer, Payton spent 5 weeks at an intense ballet program in Seattle at the Pacific Northwest Ballet. A few years ago, she did the same thing but in on the east coast with the Boston Ballet School. Payton also likes to hike and travel. She hiked places like Half Dome and Lassens Peak in California. Payton enjoys interacting with everyone on staff and is excited for what this year will hold.
