Improv Team Q&As: Grace Hudkins
What made you decide to join Improv?
“My junior year, I got a call from our previous student director, Sarah Buchanan, to come to auditions, and sure enough, I made the team!”
What is your favorite Improv memory?
“My favorite Improv memory has to be team bonding this year. We all went to [senior] Emily Smith’s house for a murder mystery dinner, dressed up as circus characters, and it was a blast.”
Why should FHC students join Improv next year?
“FHC students should join Improv because it’s an opportunity to be involved in another school function with different people you’ve never met before. It’s a chance to show up with your friends to a practice and just laugh the whole time.”
What is the most entertaining Improv game, and why?
“The most entertaining game, in my opinion, is definitely “Pockets.” This game consists of two people doing a scene with sticky notes in their pockets with audience-written suggestions on them. It is hilarious because as the person in the scene, you never know what to expect when playing “Pockets.””
Who do you think is the funniest person during improv this year?
“Honestly, I’m not sure. Everyone is pretty funny and has made great improvements this year, but I’d have to say [senior] Russell Baird.”
If you had to eat at any restaurant every single day, what would it be?
“If I could eat at any restaurant, it would probably be somewhere with a lot of variety but most importantly, lasagna because lasagna is my favorite.”
What’s a song that reminds you of your Improv experience?
“A song that reminds me of Improv is “Fergalicious” because we all sing that every time we’re all together.”
Why should people come watch the show?
“People should come to the show because it is going to be a whole lot of laughs and fun.”
