2023 Winterfest Court Q&As: Sarah Dunn

How do you feel about being on Winterfest Court?

“I was definitely very excited. I remember seeing my brothers up here in the high school [participating in lip syncs], and I’ve always wanted to do a lip sync dance.”

What was your reaction to the announcement? 

“I was surprised. I definitely did not think that I would be [nominated], there were a lot of other people I thought deserved it, but I was very happy.”

How will Winterfest night play out for you?

“I think it’ll be pretty much the same [as past years], but I’m looking forward to Friday’s basketball and obviously the assembly.”

Who else do you think should have been nominated?

“I think Addy Scholtens, Noelle Stewart, Tara Brace, Issac Stewart, and Andrew Weiskopf [also should have been nominated].”

Explain why people should vote you queen.

“There’s a lot of great candidates, so vote for whoever you would like; I think everyone deserves the vote.”

What is your favorite senior memory?

“I would say the student section [during] football games, and how loud the seniors were and how [the games] brought everybody together.”

Would you ever go skydiving?

“Absolutely not.”
