Why did you choose Hope as your final destination?

I chose hope because I just love the entire atmosphere of the school. Coach Stuursma has an energy about him that makes me excited to play ball for him.

What was the turning point that made you want to play football in college?

It has been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid to play college football. It’s a really cool experience to see the hard work over the past few years paying off.

What is your favorite moment from your football career?

My favorite moment of my football career was when we smoked Lowell 35-6 at our homecoming game. That game meant a lot to not only the team but to our community as well. It showed that we aren’t just the cascade cupcakes anymore.

What is your biggest goal once you get to Hope?

I just want to better myself as a person at Hope. I like the whole Christian faith aspect involved in the college.

Describe your journey from early football experiences to now.

It has been really cool creating a bond with the same guys over the past 10 years– from early Saturday morning peewee football games to going to play in the state semifinals game with my brothers.
