Indiana University

Why did you choose Indiana as your final destination?

I chose Indiana University because I loved the campus, academics, and coaches that were there. I knew it was the best fit for me.

What was the turning point that made you want to play soccer in college?

I always knew from a young age that I wanted to play collegiate soccer, but it was when I was about 13 that soccer became a more serious part of my life. When we started to travel the country [as a team,] it became a goal of mine.

What is your favorite moment from soccer career?

My favorite soccer memory was winning a state championship on the FHC soccer team.

What is your biggest goal once you get to Indiana?

I just want to be fit and work hard enough to earn some playing time. I want to have fun while playing soccer there.

Describe your journey from early soccer experiences to now.

I started playing soccer around the age of 5 for AYSO and eventually moved to club soccer and it took off from there. I always loved playing soccer and developed some best friends along the way that made it even more enjoyable. It started to become more and more competitive, and that is when I knew if I kept working hard, I could continue playing in college. My coach always encouraged us to keep working hard and good things would come from that.
