Why did you choose U of I as your final destination?
I decided to choose Indianapolis because I really love the area. It is two minutes outside of downtown Indianapolis and I was looking for a downtown environment. There is a ton to do in downtown Indianapolis: they have the Pacers and Colts games, The Big Ten Tournament, tons of shops and a lot more.
What was the turning point that made you want to play lacrosse in college?
I would say 8th grade is when I realized I wanted to play lacrosse in college, I have always enjoyed it but in 8th grade is when I realized I wanted to take it very seriously. I decided this because lacrosse has brought nothing but joy to my life and I have a very strong passion for the game.
What is your favorite moment from lacrosse career?
My favorite moment of my lacrosse career is winning the 2016 state championship against EGR. There are no words to even describe the feeling of beating your rival in the state championship.
What is your biggest goal once you get to U of I?
My biggest goal is to try and start or get good playing time as a freshman. I want to make a difference in the program.
Describe your journey from early lacrosse experiences to now.
The journey has been crazy. I have been playing since 1st grade and it has gotten better every year. From winning tournaments as little kids to winning a state championship all with the same group of guys has been amazing. I would not change a single thing about my journey.
