“I love [senior] Grace Cool because she has always been one of the most positive role models in my life. She puts a lot of care into everything she does– no matter what she’s doing, she’s working hard. I love her because of all the passion she puts into her life; she’s a great leader, and I really value her as a person.

This one time, the crew team was in Canada for a regatta, and I ended up being roommates with Grace. She embroidered t-shirts for everyone who was in our room, and we all still have them and wear them to practice sometimes. That really showed me how much she cares about the people around her– how can I not love her?”
