1. How long have you been a part of student council?
“I have been a part of student council for two years. My first year I was the secretary of my class, and my second year I was the secretary of the student council board.”
2. Why are you running?
“Over the past two years, I have discovered a passion for student council. I absolutely love every aspect of it, like the Family Promise Christmas store, Homecoming festivities, and even Ranger Challenges. Helping to organize these events has been so much fun for me, and I just enjoy student council as a whole.”
3. What kind of leader do you hope to be?
“I hope to be a leader that is constantly there for people. I’m going to strive to help others in any way that I can. I want to use my positive demeanor to represent the school!”
4. What do you hope to contribute to the school?
“What you see is what you get from me. I’m genuine, personable, will listen to others’ opinions, and just help make this school a happier place.”
5. Why should students vote for you?
“I have two years of prior experience, both on board and class, so I understand all that entails with being student council board president. Working alongside the previous president prepared me for years to come. Through my drive and love for student council, I know I could make next year great!”
