TCT’s The Countless Thanks 2019: Dana Kistler

Elle Ohlman

My fellow ambassador, I’m so thankful that you came back this year. I remember not knowing you too well in earlier years of high school, and that was an obvious mistake. You’re a big ball of sunshine, and I couldn’t be happier getting to know you this year. I look forward to sitting next to you in digital media and making a joke out of anything. I hope we can continue to be good friends.

Where do I even begin? You’ve been one of my best friends for so long. I’m thankful for your kindness and for showing me it’s okay to have weird humor. I’m grateful to have someone like you in my life. You’ve taught me so much, and it has been so fun to grow up with you. Thank you for always being a wonderful friend.

Ah Stelga, what a character. Your spastic humor and strange stories are something I’m thankful for. I’m glad we finally have a class together, and now I get to know you better. I’m grateful for your quirky nature.

It feels like I’m only really getting to know you now, and I regret not getting to know you earlier. I’m grateful to have someone I can relate to and have someone so kind. You inspire me to be more creative and be a better friend. I’m thankful to have a friend like you.

Rachel Douma

From the first day of digital media, I’m glad you chose to sit next to me. Having someone to laugh at and with has made my days even better. I’m grateful to have someone I can joke with, and I’m thankful for a talented friend like you to inspire me to do better.

Sarah North

My church buddy, I have so much good to say about you. You’re so kind and not afraid to be yourself; I couldn’t ask for a better friend. I’m grateful for your bold behavior, and you inspire me to pull even more on the erg.

Lindsey Cool

I’m thankful to have such a responsible coxswain and funny friend. I couldn’t be happier to have a friend like you; you’re so caring and kind. I’m glad we got to know each other even better in the spring season, and I look forward to the next.
