TCT’s The Countless Thanks 2019: Allie Beaumont

Ashlyn Korpak – for making my day ten times better

Thank you for talking to me and entertaining me with your enthusiastic attitude after school almost every dayeven though I was some random freshman sitting in your classroom. Even before I knew who you were, I would go to you with my many questions, and you would respond with the most helpful and encouraging answers. I feel so lucky that I had to stay after school for cheer practice so often so the two of us had to awkwardly sit in the room. Our here-and-there conversations soon turned into a friendship that I am eternally grateful for. You took me under your wingyou taught me the ways of The Central Trend. Every sixth hour, your bright smile and warm presence greet me with a hug. I am so thankful that I met you because you honestly make my day ten times better.

Mia Martin – for being just as weird and crazy as me

You get me on a level that I can’t even find the words to explain. Our conversations will never end — whether they consist of endless laughter or regrettable tears, I know I can always look to you to calm me down, make me smile, and even cry along with me. Your friendship means the world to me, and without it, I would not be the same person I am today. If I am exhausted and know that my day is going to be dreadful, then I at least have seeing you to look forward to. I honestly could never get sick of spending time with you; being with you is like spending time with my second half. Around you I always feel safe, happy, and completely and utterly myself. I could never express how thankful I am for your friendship; you are family to me.

Julia Beaumont – for keeping my days bright

Thank you for being the person I can and will always turn to. Ever since we were little, whenever I was sad, you were the only one who could make me smile through tears. You make my days bright and my room even brighter; you used to turn on the lights in my room before I entered because I was scared of the dark. It is the little things you would do that made me the happiest. We have been on countless adventures together and will continue to go on many more. You have so much going for you in life, and you deserve the world. A couple sentences will never be enough to show you how much I love and appreciate you. You are my lifelong best friend.

My parents – for giving me all I have

Thank you for letting me rant to you about my problems day and night. Thank you for always giving me the best advice. Thank you for letting me be who I am. Your unconditional support makes my life filled with happiness on even the hardest of days. The amount of things you do for me are endless, from making my lunch all the time, even though I am the one who is supposed to make it, to showing me how truly magical the world can be. You’re the best role models a kid could ask for. You move mountains for me and I idolize you more and more every single day. Thank you for all you have given me. I love you.

Lydia – for making me laugh after practice

Thank you for driving me home from cheer practice every single day. Our chats and the way you narrate yourself driving makes me laugh after some of the hardest days. You have been my sister’s friend for many years now, but I always enjoy your presence in my house. Even though I am just Julia’s little sister, you have always treated me like a friend and have shown me the ways of both being a high schooler and being on cheer team. For that kindness, I am truly thankful.

Miss Teri – for being my second mom

Your bright, optimistic attitude always makes me look forward to seeing you. You have been part of my life for five years, and I am grateful for every second that I get to spend with you. You attended many of the high school football games, and as I cheered, you cheered back. Knowing that your kind eyes were watching me made me want to be the best cheerleader I could be. I am a very huggy person, and I know that I can always count on you for the warmest hugs. You make the room happier. You should always know that your generosity is being noticed and very much appreciated.
