What does missing out on your Senior golf season mean to you?

“Missing out on my Senior golf season is disappointing because I was very excited to bond with my teammates and hopefully make it to states as a team. I also was not able to play last season because of a torn ACL, so I was really looking forward to representing FHC on the course.”

What was your reaction when MHSAA announced that the Spring sports season was canceled?

“When I heard that the MHSAA canceled the spring sports season, I was sad that we would miss it, but I wasn’t really surprised at their action because of how far the virus was spreading, and I knew that they were doing the right thing for the health of all of the athletes.”

What has golf meant to you throughout your high school career?

“Golf has meant a lot to me over my high school career. I love the sport, and the team atmosphere applied to the individual sport is really special, and it is unfortunate I only got to experience that for one year.”

What are you going to miss most about playing for FHC?

“What I’ll miss most about playing for FHC is how fun it was to play with my teammates and the passion we all had for the game.”

What is your proudest accomplishment and/or highlight as a Ranger?

“I’d have to say my best highlight as a Ranger was making the first hole in one in JV golf history. That was a pretty cool moment I got to experience with a couple of my teammates”

What would you say to underclassmen who still have time left playing for FHC?

“I would say to underclassmen who still have time to play for FHC that they should cherish this time with teammates and coaches and realize what a unique experience it is. I know that Joe, Cam, Nic, and all the other guys will be great leaders for FHC golf in the future.”
