What does missing out on your Senior softball season mean to you?
“It means that I won’t be able to play with those girls again, and I won’t ever get a chance to play softball again.”
What was your reaction when MHSAA announced the Spring sports season was canceled?
“It was very saddening to know that I put in that much work just to have it pulled away from me by something out of my control. I was really looking forward to this season, and learning that it was going to be canceled was a big disappointment.”
What has softball meant to you throughout your high school career?
“This sport has meant a lot to me throughout high school and has taught me a lot of different lessons, so I will be forever thankful for it.”
What are you going to miss most about playing for FHC?
“I will miss playing alongside my best friends the most, and celebrating with them too.”
What would you say to underclassmen who still have time left playing for FHC?
“I would tell underclassmen to appreciate the time they have left and not take school or sports for granted because you never truly know what will happen. I would also tell them that the obstacles in your path are there to help you, so don’t get discouraged by them.”
What is your favorite memory from FHC Softball?
“My favorite softball memory is getting slushies after practice with Caitlin Snyder and Jordyn Carlson.”
Is there anything you want to say to the FHC community?
“I want to say thank you to my coaches because they honestly pushed me farther than I ever thought possible, and they really helped me learn some hard lessons, which I am very grateful for. They were always there for me, and I knew they had my back.”
