The Improv at the Park team wearing masks at one of their summer practices.

Improv team 2020 Q&As

Improv Central began in 2012 as the creative brainchild of 2014 FHC grad John Donovan. It has been a popular addition to the FHC Theatre Department for eight years. After the March 2020 shut-down, FHC Theatre students desired to continue the Improv team tradition during the summer months. The team gathered as a student-run, parent-organized club focused on the improvisational arts. This year, since the team is unable to hold the show(s) inside at the FHC Aud, the team, led by Captain Ben Lowen, will take the show, entitled Improv at the Park, to the Van Andel Legacy Family Pavilion in downtown Ada. Read Ben’s Q&A and those of the other 10 members now! Come out and support the months of hard work of these team members. Show date is Saturday September 26, 2020. Three unique shows will be held at 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00. $5 General admission tickets available through Venmo (@FHCTheatre). Only 79 patrons permitted per performance; it is working on a first come, first served basis. Venmo payments can be made to the Venmo account @FHCTheatre, and payments must be labeled with which show (3:00, 5:00, or 7:00) you're attending and how many tickets you're purchasing in the notes section. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are general seating; audience members must bring their own blankets or chairs. Masks will be required upon entry. Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to for all non-family members. Join the cast for a wild night of fun!
