Winterfest Court Q&A: Sawyer Bosch

1. What was your reaction when finding out about your nomination?

“I was really surprised that I got picked, but it was such a cool moment.”

2. What is your favorite Winterfest activity and why? 

“I like seeing the window paintings that the different classes do [because they’re all unique to each grade.]”

3. Why do you think you were nominated?

“I have no idea why I was nominated.”

4. Who wasn’t nominated for court who you would choose and why?

“I would choose [senior] Alec Gast because I think he deserves it, and he’s a great person, and I would also choose [senior] Gwen Henderson for the same reasons.”

5. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

“I’d choose ‘Bounce Back’ by Big Sean because I think it has a lot you can learn from it, and it has a great deeper meaning.”

6. On a scale of 1-10 how well does your car drive in the snow and why?

“I’d give it an 8/10 because I just got some new snow tires, and they’ve been great so far.”

7. Do you have a nickname, if so, what is it and why?

“My most recent nickname is probably ‘Goyer,’ and that came from [senior] Reid Davison, and he made it because he can’t pronounce the letter ‘S’ so he switched it to a ‘G.'”
