What purpose does your product/company serve and what problem is it looking to solve?
“Our product is a phone wallet that sticks to the back of your phone. We want to solve the issue of not having to take your phone and a wallet with you to carry your cash, cards, or IDs.”
Why did your group decide to go with this business idea?
“We decided to go with [the Perfect Purse] because it’s something that’s really helpful that we can see a lot of people using, but it’s also a product that [the group members] are going to use as well. It’s something that can make a difference to people.”
Why do you think your product will be appealing to the student body in general?
“I believe it will be appealing because a lot of people seem to carry their IDs and cash with them, but having a nice place to put them, such as our phone wallet, would be really helpful.”
How did you come up with the name?
“We were just throwing ideas out there, and we thought of a purse because it’s something that can hold other items, and we thought it would be cool to have the double Ps in the name. We thought of it and just kind of stuck with it.”
How can people hear about you and buy from you?
“You can go to our Instagram page, but we’re also going to have a website out soon as well as ads around the school. We have a Venmo that anyone can take a look at.”
What will you be doing with your profits? Is there an organization you plan to donate a percentage of your profits to?
“We plan on donating 5% to Kids’ Food Basket.”
Tell me a story from your experience working on this project.
“I’d say something that’s been memorable is that I get to learn about the business world a lot more than I thought I would have. I get to learn the ins and outs as well as how things work; I think it will be very good for me in the future.”
