Prom Court Q&As: Joe Murdock

What was your reaction to getting on prom court?

“I was excited that I was nominated by my friends to be on court. It was a cool feeling.”

What are your short-term future plans?

“Next year I will be playing golf and participating in the Management Fellows Program at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.”

What is your favorite senior year memory?

“My favorite memory is probably doing the college gameday skit with the FHC Sports Report before the Grand Blanc football game. It was very unique and we had a lot of fun hosting a pre-game show.”

What is one lesson that you’ve learned from your time in high school?

“One lesson that I have learned is that people care a lot more about your personality and the way you treat others, compared to typical letter grades. Grades don’t define people.”

What ice cream flavor would you be and why?

“I would be superman because it would be cool to be able to fly. And I would get free ice cream.”

What was your favorite class in high school and why?

“My favorite class was probably either Intro to Business with Mr. Lowe or Senior English with Mrs. DeMeester. In both classes, I learned a lot about myself and what I want to be coming out of high school. “
