Homecoming Court Q&As: Allie Beaumont

What was your reaction when you heard your name called?

“At first, I was slightly caught off guard, because I wasn’t expecting it and especially not being called down first, but when I heard my name, I was extremely excited.”

Why do you think you were nominated?

“I feel like I’ve been involved in quite a few activities over these last four years that have allowed me to meet and become friends with a lot of people in my grade, and in general, I am just super extroverted.”

Who do you think should be nominated for court that isn’t already?

“Definitely [senior] Annie Douma because we met sophomore year, and ever since, she has been such an amazing friend and in general, she’s just so sweet towards everyone and I love her!”

Which spirit day is your favorite?

“My favorite spirit day is country vs. country club because I like that it’s a new one we’ve never done in the past, and I feel like it’s one that most people can participate in. I also really like my outfit I have planned for that day.”

What is your favorite Ranger Homecoming Week tradition?

“My favorite tradition would have to be lip sync. I just love how our freshman year, it was literally the worst lip sync they had ever seen, and we completely turned that around and won our junior year! All of the practices are also a lot of fun, and I just know that our lip sync is something I’ll always remember.”

If you had the chance to visit outer space, would you?

“To be completely honest, probably not, unless it was as easy as flying on a plane because otherwise, the thought of it sounds very scary, but maybe if the ride up was slightly more peaceful.”
