Sydney Race is a sophomore and is continuing to write for The Central Trend in her second year on staff. She is a sideline and competitive cheerleader with a long history of dance. This year, she is a Ranger Youth Cheer coach for third and fourth graders. When given the chance, she'll talk nonstop about her favorite songs and how infuriating the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is. She loves to write, and this year, she wants to improve her writing abilities and grammar skills.

Favorite comfort foods: Lemon Luna Bars and Key Lime LaCroix.

Favorite Harry Potter character: Neville Longbottom or Hermione Granger (classic).

Best go-to outfit: Socks and Birkenstocks, an oversized sweatshirt, and sweatpants or leggings.
