Why did you apply to be a speaker?

“I applied to be a speaker because after doing my talk for the first time, I realized what a difference I could make. I thought participating in FHC Inspires would be a very good experience, and it is also a very unique opportunity.”

How are you feeling about speaking at FHC Inspires?

“I am excited to give my talk, but I am also nervous.”

What was the process of perfecting your speech?

“I made sure to practice a lot, and I went to quite a few run-throughs to help prepare.”

What does your message mean to you, and what should it mean to the audience?

“My message is very important to me because it is a huge part of my life. I hope that my talk will convince people to start or continue learning a second language.”

Did you ever see yourself speaking at FHC Inspires? 

“No, last year, when I watched TED Talks, I told myself I would never do FHC Inspires, but here I am.”

Does your Google slide presentation reflect your topic?

“Yes, my slide background is a map of the world.”

What’s the best time of day and why? 

“The nighttime because I am a night owl, and I find the end of the day to be very relaxing.”

What’s something you can’t live without?

“My phone.”
