Why do you enjoy being in the play?

“I enjoy being in the play because all the people in it are so amazing to be around, and they make me so happy every time I see them. I always want to be at rehearsal with all of them.”

What made you decide that you wanted to try out? 

“I’ve done theatre for a lot of my life, and I just didn’t ever do the play in high school because I was a little nervous, and so I decided it was my senior year and should just do it. And so I did, and I’m really happy with my choice.”

Do you relate to your character?

“I relate to my character in a way because she always makes little jokes when she’s uncomfortable, and I feel like I do that too. But other than that, I don’t really know.”

What’s your character when you play Clue?

“I feel like it might have been Miss Scarlet, which is really ironic, but I feel like that was always my go-to.”

What is your pre-show ritual?

“I think my pre-show ritual is the handshake thing where you count down from 10; I love me one of those. And I also just love talking to everyone, giving them little words of affirmation because it makes me feel better, when I feel like I’m making other people feel better.”

What is your go-to fast food order/restaurant?

“I’d probably say Chick-Fil-A, and I might say mac and cheese and fries. [That’s] always good.”

Is it too early to listen to Christmas music? 

“Absolutely not. I think if it makes you happy, then you should listen to it whenever your heart desires.”
