Why do you enjoy being in the play?

“There’s a really good sense of community and it’s a lot of fun. It’s a place you can be yourself in and it’s good.”

What made you decide that you wanted to try out? 

“I did the musical last year and I’ve done performances before, and I’ve just always really enjoyed them. It’s been a passion of mine, so I just thought I would try out again; I’m glad I got in, it’s been a lot of fun.”

Do you relate to your character?

“No. My character is really stuck up and British—I’m not British. He’s very uptight, and I feel like I can be uptight at some [times], but I’m pretty much a laid-back person.”

What is your pre-show ritual?

“I dance pretty regularly, before I go on stage, not like actual dance [but] just fun dances. It loosens me up. It gets me relaxed.”

What is your go-to fast food order/restaurant?

“My favorite fast food restaurant is Culver’s, just again and again. It’s consistently phenomenal. I get the burger, the kid’s meal with a burger. And on the burger, I get lettuce, onion, ketchup, [and] mustard. And then for my ice cream, the free scoop ice cream, I get chocolate ice cream with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. And then for my drink, I get a root beer.”

Is it too early to listen to Christmas music? 

“Personally, I will say it’s too early, but if I’m in a Christmas-type of mood, I’m going to listen to Christmas music.”
